Chairperson, on behalf of the Personnel Committee, I move acceptance of the foregoing report. PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #93103 June 10, 1993 BY: PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE - Lawrence A. Obrecht Chairperson IN RE: CIRCUIT COURT/FRIEND OF THE COURT - TEMPORARY ADJUSTED WORKWEEK SCHEDULE FOR FOUR CLERICAL EMPLOYEES TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Mr. Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS Merit System Rule 2, Section VIII, A.2. provides for an adjusted workweek schedule without requiring overtime payments for those departments/divisions which have received approval from the County Executive and the Board of Commissioners; and WHEREAS the Circuit Court/Friend of the Court has submitted a request to implement a 4 day/40 hour (4/40) workweek schedule on a temporary basis during the summer for four clerical employees assigned to the file room; and WHEREAS eight summer students were previously approved for the Friend of the Court to assist in the conversion of 485,000 documents to image; and WHEREAS current work stations are limited and the 4/40 workweek will enable the four document imaging scanners to be used an additional two hours per day per scanner; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Circuit Court/Friend of the Court to utilize a 4 day/40 hour (4/40) workweek during the months of June through September 1993 on a temporary basis as permitted in Merit Rule 2, Section VIII, A. 2. for the following positions: 31201-02078, 31201-00327, 31201-01744, 31201-03090 Chairperson, on behalf of the Public Services Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution. pupLic SERVICES COMMITTEE, Resolution #93103 June 10, 1993 Moved by Obrecht supported by Garfield the report be accepted.
