NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners request United States Senators and Representatives in Congress serving Oakland County communities and constituents to reverse the tide of funding cuts to the CDBG and HOME programs cuts and restore CDBG appropriations to $3.3 billion and HOME appropriations to $1.2 billion which approximate FY 2016 budget levels. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Oakland is directed to submit a copy of this resolution to Michigan's United States Senators and Members of Congress, Chairperson, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
