TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Chariperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the County of Oakland and the Michigan Nurses Association,
have been negotiating a 1994 and 1995 wage and benefit reopener pursuant
to Appendix A and Appendix B of the 1993-1995 Collective Bargaining
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached agreement regarding the 1994 and
1995 wage and benefit modifirarirm provisions covering 126 Public Health
Nurses and said agreement has been reduced to writing; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been reviewed by your Personnel Committee
which recommends approval of the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the County
of Oakland and the Michigan Nurses Association, is hereby approved; and
that the Chairperson of this Board, on behalf of the County of Oakland,
is authorized to execute said agreement, a copy of which is attached
hereto.
Chairperson, on behalf of the Personnel Committee, I move the
adoption of the foregoing resolution.

1994 & 1995 WAGE AND BENEFIT REOPENER
I. Nag=
1994 - "Me Too" with general non-represented employees.
1995 - 3% "Me Too" should the general non-represented
employee's 1995 wage increase exceed 3%.
II. Benefit,
1995 - Flex Benefit plan to be implemented consistent with
plan in effect for non-represented employees as of
1/1/95.
- Defined Contribution Retirement plan as adopted by
the Board of Commissioners and in effect 1/1/95.
Rx Preferred Provider Drug plan to be implemented
effective 1/1/95.

Enclosed for your files, please find a copy of the Memorandum of
Agreement with the County of Oakland and the Michigan Nurses Association
(Public Health Nurses). This memorandum of agreement was passed at the
December 8, 1994 Board meeting.

Memorandum of Agreement
This agreement is entered into this 0610L day of , 1994,
between the County of Oakland and the Mirhigar NurqPs Association (Public
Health Nurses), pursuant to Appendix A and Appendix B of the 1993-1995
Collective Bargaining Agreement which provides for a reopening of
negotiations to determine 1994 and 1995 wage rates and benefits for
employees represented by this bargaining unit.
The parties agree that the wage and benefit modifications for 1994
and 1995 shall occur as follows:

1995 -
Employees represented by this bargaining unit shall be
entitled to receive the same general wage increase as
approved by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners to
take effect during calendar year 1994 for non-
represented employees.
Effective December 24, 1994, employees represented by
this bargaining unit shall receive a 3W (three percent)
wage increase to their bi-weekly rate. In the event the
Board of Commissioners approves a 1995 general wage
increase greater than 3W (three percent) for non-
represented employees, these employees shall be entitled
to the greater increase effective at the same time and
in the same manner as provided the non-represented group
in lieu of the aforementioned 3% (three percent)
increase.
The Flexible Benefit plan, as adopted by the Board of
Commissioners and in effect for norkerepresented
employees as of 1/1/95, shall be imp:T4mented for
employees represented by this bargaining mnit.
