IN RE: PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT - ONE YEAR ( 1994) CONTRACT
EXTENSION OF LABOR AGREEMENT FOR EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY
AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL
EMPLOYEES, MICHIGAN COUNCIL 25 ( PROSECUTOR ' S
INVESTIGATORS)
To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners
Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the County of Oakland and the American Federation of
State, County and Municipal Employees, Michigan Council 25, have
been negotiating a contract covering approximately seven (7)
Prosecutor's Investigators of the Office of the Prosecuting
Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached agreement regarding the 1994
wage rate and benefit modification provisions and have further
agreed to extend the 1991-1993 contract provisions through 1994
and said agreement has been reduced to writing; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been reviewed by your Personnel
Committee which recommends approval of the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the
County of Oakland and the American Federation of State, County and
Municipal Employees, Michigan Council 25, is hereby approved; and
that the Chairperson of this Board, on behalf of the County of
Oakland, is authorized to execute said agreement, a copy of
which is attached hereto.
Chairperson, on behalf of the Personnel Committee, 1 move the
adoption of the foregoing resolution.

SUBJECT: Prosecutor's Investigators Collective Bargaining Agreement
Enclosed for your files, please find a copy of the Collective
Bargaining Agreement between the County of Oakland and the American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, ML-CIO, Michigan
Council 25 (Prosecutor's Investigators). This Collective Bargaining
Agreement was passed at the May 6, 1994 Board meeting.

This agreement is entered into this 12)d-, day of PI A-1 , 1994,
between the County of Oakland and the American Federation of State, County
and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, Michigan Council 25, covering seven (7)
Prosecutor's Investigators.
The parties agree to extend the provisions of the 1991-1993
collective bargaining agreement through December 31, 1994.
Wage and benefit modifications shall occur as follows:
Wages 1994
Employees represented by this bargaining unit shall maintain their
1993 bi-weekly wage rates through December 23, 1994. Should a 1994
general wage increase for non-represented employees be approved by the
Oakland County Board of Commissioners during the 1994 calendar year,
employees represented by this bargaining unit shall be entitled to the
same increase implemented at the same time.
Benefits 1994
All employee benefit modifications implemented on a County wide basis
to non-represented employees during calendar year 1994, shall be applied
to employees represented by this bargaining unit. Modifications shall be
applied at the same time and in the same manner as applied to the
non-represented group in calendar year 1994.

Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Pursuant to Rule XI-G of this Board, the Finance Committee has
reviewed Miscellaneous Resolution #94123, and finds:
1) The County of Oakland and the American Federation of
State, County, and Municipal Employees, Michigan Council
25, have reached an agreement regarding the 1994 wage
rate and benefit modification provisions for approximate-
ly seven (7) Prosecuting Investigators of the Office of
Prosecuting Attorney.
2) The parties have further agreed to extend the 1991-1993
contract provisions through December 31, 1994.
3) The agreement stipulates a "Me Too" clause with general
non-represented employees for 1994.
4) The 1993 hi-weekly rates were maintained in 1994 for
general non-represented employees.
5) The 1994-1995 Adopted Budget reflects this level of
funding for the bargaihing unit.
