TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS, the County of Oakland and the Teamsters, State,
County and Municipal Workers, Local 214, have been negotiating a
1994 and 1995 wage and benefit reopener pursuant to Appendix A
and Appendix B of the 1993-1995 Collective Bargaining Agreement;
and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached agreement regarding the
1994 and 1995 wage and benefit modification provisions covering
thirteen (13) Jail Health Program Nurses and said agreement has
been reduced to writing; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been reviewed by your Personnel
Committee which recommends approval of the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the
County of Oakland and the Teamsters, State, County and Municipal
Workers, Local 214, is hereby approved; and that the Chairperson
of this Board, on behalf of the County of Oakland, is authorized
to execute said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto.
Chairperson, on behalf of the Personnel Committee, I move
the adoption of the foregoing resolution.

Enclosed for your files, please find a copy of the Memorandum of
Agreement with the County of Oakland and the Teamsters, State, County
and Municipal Workers, Local 214 (Jail Health Program Nurses). This
Memorandum of Agreement was passed at the September 22, 1994 Board
meeting.

Benefits
1994 -
Memorandum of Agreement
This agreement is entered into thisay of
1994, between the County of Oakland and the Teamsters, State,
County and Municipal Workers, Local 214 (Jail Health Program
Nurses), pursuant to Appendix A and Appendix B of the 1993-1995
Collective Bargaining Agreement which provides for a reopening of
negotiations to determine 1994 and 1995 wage rates and benefits
for employees represented by this bargaining unit.
The parties agree that the wage and benefit modifications
for 1994 and 1995 shall occur as follows:
Wages
1994 -
1995 -
1995 -
Employees represented by this bargaining unit
shall be entitled to receive the same general
salary increase as approved by the Oakland County
Board of Commissioners to take effect during
calendar year 1994 for non-represented employees.
Employees represented by this bargaining unit
shall be entitled to receive the same general
salary increase as approved by the Oakland County
Board of Commissioners to take effect during
calendar year 1995 for non-represented employees.
Adjustments, if any, shall be applied at the same
time and in the same manner as applied to the non-
represented group.
Effective with the execution of this agreement,
the mileage reimbursement rate shall be increased
to $.28 per mile.
The Flexible Benefit plan, as adopted by the Board
of Commissioners and in effect for non-represented
employees as of 1/1/95, shall be implemented for
employees represented by this bargaining unit.

The Defined Contribution Retirement plan, as
adopted by the Board of Commissioners and in
effect 1/1/95, shall be implemented for employees
represented by this bargaining unit.
The Rx Preferred Provider Drug plan, as adopted by
the Board of Commissioners and in effect 1/1/95,
shall be implemented for employees represented by
this bargaining unit.

has reviewed Miscellaneous Resolution #94259 and finds:
1. No amendments are required to the 1994 Budget.
2. Any changes to the 1995 Budget will be included at the
time of adoption.
