Svs. -Fringes 807 1.049 $ -0- r MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION 196039 March 7, 1996 BY: Finance and Personnel Committee, Sue Ann Douglas, Chairperson IN RE: PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT - SALARY ADMINISTRATION FOURTH QUARTERLY REPORT FOR 1595 To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Salary Administration Study Group Reports, approved by the Board of Commissioners for Grades 1 - 21, provide a review and appeal process for departments and employees wishing to challenge the salary grade placement of classifications; and WHEREAS the Fourth Quarterly Report for 1995 was submitted to the Finance and Personnel Committee identifying the reviews requested and the salary grade changes recommended by the Personnel Department after completion of this review process; and WHEREAS the Finance and Personnel Committee has reviewed and approved this report; and WHEREAS the annual cost of the recommended salary grade placement changes for Governmental positions is $12,326 and the cost for the remainder of 1996 iS $9,481; and WHEREAS funding is available to implement the recommended salary grade changes for the Governmental positions in the Classification and Rate Change account; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners authorizes implementation of the Salary Administration Fourth Quarterly Report for 1995 which includes the following personnel actions: Salary Grade ClaSSification from:, To: beCation-PoSition Crime Lab.
