Shall the School District of the City of Birmingham, Oakland County, Michigan,
borrow the sum of not to exceed One Hundred Two Million Eight Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($102,800,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds
therefor in one or more series for the purpose of defraying all or a part of the
cost of purchasing, erecting, completing, remodeling, or equipping or reequipping
school buildings, including structures, athletic fields, playgrounds, or other _
facilities, or parts of or additions to those facilities; furnishing or
refurnishing new or remodeled school buildings; acquiring, preparing, developing,
or improving sites, or parts of or additions to sites, for school buildings,
including structures, athletic fields, playgrounds, or other facilities; and _
acquiring, installing, or equipping or reequipping school buildings and other
facilities for, technology?
The maximum number of years each series ot bonds may be outstanding, exclusive of
refunding, is 30 years; the estimated millage that will be levied to pay the
proposed bonds in the first year that the levy is auth6Fized (2004) is .5 malls
(which is equal to $.50 per $1,000 of taxable value of real and tangible personal
property in the School District); and the estimated simple average annual millage
that will be required to retire the bonds is .71 mills.

issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefor in one or more series

(which is equal to $.49 per $1,000 of taxable value of real and tangible personal
property in the School District); and the estimated simple average annual millage
that will be required to retire the bonds is .26 mills.
The authorization in this Bond Proposition 2 shall not become effective unless
'the electors of the School District of the City of Birmingham also approve Bond
Proposition ,1 at the School District's special election on September 30, 2003.

Shall the School District of the City at Birmingham, Oakland County, Michigan,
levy one mill (which is equal to $1 per $1,000 of taxable value of real and
tangible personal property) against all property in the School District for a
period of ten years, 2003 to 2012, inclusive, for the purpose of creating a
sinking fund to be used for the purchase of real estate for sites for, and the
construction or repair of, school buildings, as well as for equipping school
buildings if permitted by changes in state law? The estimated amount of
revenue that the School District will collect in the year 2003 if the millage is
authorized and levied will be $3,990,608. The proposed millage is the
authorization of a new additional millage.
