Law, Chairperson IN RE: PERSONNEL/HUMAN RESOURCES - SALARY ADMINISTRATION FIRST QUARTERLY REPORT FOR FY2001 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Salary Admfnistration Study Group Reports approved by the Board of Commissioners for Grades 1 - 21 provide for a process for departments and employees requesting a review of the salary grade placement of classifications; and WHEREAS the FirsL Quarterly Report for FY2001 identifies the reviews requested and the salary Trade changes recommended by the Personnel Department after completion of this review process; and WHEREAS funds have been established in the Classification and Rate Change fund to implement salary grade changes resulting from Salary Administration Quarterly Report recommendations; and WHEREAS additional funding is available in FM&O proprietary funds and Community Corrections grants for elee'fieetion changes in those two divisions. There were no objections. $ 1,732 $ 454 $ 3,023 $ 791 $2,252 S 590 3,926 $ 1,029 FISCAL NOTE (M.R. #00303) December 14, 2000 BY: FINANCE COMMITTEE, SUE ANN DOUGLAS, CHAIRPERSON IN RE: PERSONNEL/HUMAN RESOURCES - SALARY ADMINISTRATION FIRST QUARTERLY REPORT FOR FY 2001 TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: Pursuant to Rule XII-C of this Board, the Finance Committee has reviewed the above referenced resolution and finds: 1. The Personnel Department, with approval from the Board of Commissioners, provides a process for departments and employees requesting a review of the salary grade placement classifications for Grades 1-21, 2. The annual cost of the recommended salary grade changes for General Fund/General Purpose positions is $54,773 for FY 2002. The impact on the remainder of FY 2001 is $42,134. 3, The annual cost of the recommended salary grade changes for the Special Revenue/Proprietary Revenue positions is $43,388 for FY 2002. The impact on the remainder of FY 2001 is $33,375. 4. Funds have been established in the Classification and Rate Change fund to implement salary grade changes resulting from the Salary Administration Quarterly Report recommendations for general fund/general purpose positions. S. Funding for the Special Revenue/Proprietary Revenue positions in Community Corrections is available from grant funds. Funds are available in the Facilities Maintenance & Operations fund for the changes related to that department. 6.
