Home My WebLink AboutResolutions - 2000.02.24 - 25988MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION #00020 BY: COMMISSIONER NANCY DINGELDEY, DISTRICT #11 IN RE; ENVIRONMENTAL INFRASTRUCTURE FUND REIMBURSEMENT FOR PROJECT IN THE VILLAGE OF WOLVERINE LAKE TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners established an Environmental Infrastructure Funds and Disbursement Policy per Miscellaneous Resolution #99093 in an effort to increase the share of dollars flowing into infrastructure projects for the County and its cities, villages and townships (CVT's); and WHEREAS pursuant to the Disbursement Policy, the Village of Wolverine Lake has submitted a resolution of authorization to the County for reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with an eligible environment remediation of improvement project; and WHEREAS the Village of Wolverine Lake is requesting reimbursement for engineering work related to sanitary sewer systems, storm water systems, septic systems and well water testing; and WHEREAS the Village of Wolverine Lake has requested reimbursement from the County in the amount of $3,727 for this particular project; and WHEREAS the current authorized amount of funding for the Village of Wolverine Lake is $17,532.73 from the Environmental Infrastructure Fund as repayment to the Village of Wolverine Lake for expenses incurred in connection with environmental remediation or improvement projects. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approves the engineering work related to sanitary sewer systems, storm water systems, septic systems and well water testing, as eligible for reimbursement from the Environmental Infrastructure Fund. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board authorizes the release of funds in the amount of $3,727 from the Environmental Infrastructure Fund (Account #90- 263207-41000-3985)as repayment to the Village of Wolverine Lake for expenses incurred in connection with environmental remediation or improvement projects. Village of Wolverine Lake 425 Glengary • Wolverine Lake, Michigan 48390-1404 • (248) 624-1710 • Fax (248) 624-3536 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENVIRONMENTAL INFRASTRUCTURE FUND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Oakland County Executive, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners has established an Environmental Infrastructure Fund Program to assist Oakland County cities, villages and townships in addressing clean water and storm water needs; and WHEREAS, Oakland County's Environmental Infrastructure Fund Program authorizes Oakland County cities, villages and townships to apply for reimbursement of eligible expenses incurred in connection with environmental remediations or improvements relating to ground and/or surface water, water supply, sewer and/or drainage systems and/or water pollution control efforts incurred as part of a city, village or township road project; and WHEREAS, the Village of Wolverine Lake, Oakland County, Michigan has incurred expenses in connection with environmental remediation or improvement project(s) believed to be eligible for reimbursement under Oakland County's Environmental Infrastructure Fund Program. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this Council authorizes and directs its Village Administrator Sharon Miller, and or Village Clerk Rita Irwin, as agents for the Village of Wolverine Lake, in the manner and to the extent provided for under Oakland County Board of Commissioner Miscellaneous Resolution 99093, to request reimbursement of eligible environmental remediation or improvement project expenses under Oakland County's Enxironmental Infrastructure Fund Program. 41ff.o .
