Palmer, Chairperson IN RE: DEPARTMENT OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT — AMENDMENT TO MISCELLANEOUS RESOLUTION NO. 01158 AS ADOPTED ON JUNE 5, 2001 To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS pursuant to Miscellaneous Resolution No. 01158 adopted on June 5, 2001, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approved the exchange, via quit claim deed, of approximately 6.2-acre parcels of land with the City of Pontiac for the purpose of maximizing its development of a technology park over part of the former Clinton Valley Center property; and WHEREAS a recent survey of the remaining Clinton Valley Center property has resulted in the discovery of error in the legal description of the entire Clinton Valley parcel and therefore an error in the legal description of the 6.2-acre parcels to be exchanged by the County of Oakland and the City of Pontiac; and WHEREAS the Departments of Facilities Management and Corporation Counsel recommend that Miscellaneous Resolution No. 01158 as adopted on June 5, 2001, be amended by substituting the corrected legal descriptions of the parcels to be exchanged by the County of Oakland and the City of Pontiac as described in the attached Exhibit "A." NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Miscellaneous Resolution No. 01158 as adopted on June 5, 2001, be amended by substituting the corrected legal descriptions of the parcels to be exchanged by the County of Oakland and the City of Pontiac as described in the attached Exhibit "A." Chairperson, on behalf of the Planning and Building Committee, I move the adoption of the foregoing resolution.
