TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Finance Committee, having reviewed the above referenced resolution,
reports as follows:
1. $22,649.48 is available in the Environmental Infrastructure Fund
for FY 2001, to reimburse the Village of Milford for this project;
no additional appropriation is required.
2. The Committee recommends adoption of the resolution.

the foregoing report.

IN RE; ENVIRONMENTAL INFRASTRUCTURE FUND REIMBURSEMENT FOR PROJECT IN THE
VILLAGE OF MILFORD - FY 2001 ALLOCATION
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS the Oakland County Board of Commissioners established an
Environmental Infrastructure Funds and Disbursement Policy per Miscellaneous
Resolution #99093 in an effort to increase the share of dollars flowing into
infrastructure projects for the County and its cities, villages and townships
(CVTs); and
WHEREAS pursuant to the Disbursement Policy, the Village of Milford has
submitted a resolution of authorization to the County for reimbursement of
expenses incurred in connection with an eligible environment remediation of
improvement project; and
WHEREAS Village of Milford is requesting reimbursement to conduct a
hydrogeologic evaluation of local alternative water supplies as required by
the MDEQ Wellhead Protection Program; and
WHEREAS the FY 2001 authorized amount of funding for the Village of
Milford is $22,649.48 from the Environmental Infrastructure Fund as repayment
to the Village of Milford for expenses incurred in connection with
environmental remediation or improvement projects.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners approves the projects submitted by the Village of Milford as
eligible for reimbursement from the Environmental Infrastructure Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board authorizes a FY 2001 appropriation
in the amount of $22,649.48 from the Environmental Infrastructure Fund
(Account #90-263215-41000-3985) to repay the Village of Milford for expenses
incurred in connection with environmental remediation or improvement projects,
once proper invoices are presented.

Dear Mr. Ott:
Attached are three (3) invoices paid by the Village of Milford for which we are
requesting reimbursement through the Environmental Infrastructure Fund. The
invoices are for hydrogeologic evaluation for a contingency public water suppy
well, as approved by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners.
The amount requested at this time for reimbursement is $21,263.90. If you have

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENVIRONMENTAL
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST
NO. 00-017
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Oakland County
Executive, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners has established an
Environmental Infrastructure Fund Program to assist Oakland County cities,
villages and townships in addressing clean water and storm water needs; and
WHEREAS, Oakland County's Environmental Infrastructure Fund
Program authorizes Oakland County cities, village and townships to apply for
reimbursement of eligible expenses incurred in connection with environmental
remediations or improvements relating to ground and/or surface water, water
supply, sewer and/or drainage systems and/or water pollution control efforts
incurred as part of a city, village or township road project; and
WHEREAS the Village of Milford, Oakland County, Michigan has
incurred expenses in connection with an environmental remediation or
improvement project believed to be eligible for reimbursement under Oakland
County's Environmental Infrastructure Fund Program.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Council authorizes
and directs it Treasurer as agent for the Village of Milford in the manner and
to the extent provided for under Oakland County Board of Commissioner
Miscellaneous Resolution 99093 to request reimbursement of eligible
environmental remediation or improvement project expenses under Oakland
County's Environmental Infrastructure Fund Program.
