IN RE: DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET/CIRCUIT COURT —
REAPPROPRIATION OF MEDIATION FUNDS
TO THE OAKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen:
WHEREAS by Miscellaneous Resolution #90177, the Board of Commissioners
established the Circuit Court Civil Mediation Fund; and
WHEREAS the fund is to be used to help pay for Circuit Court enhancements and
improvements as requested by the Circuit Court and approved by the Board of Commissioners;
and
WHEREAS funds were appropriated in FY 2001 by miscellaneous resolution #01210 but
not spent, and inadvertently were not requested to be carried forward, and therefore fell to
undesignated fund balance; and
WHEREAS funds are needed this fiscal year to be utilized for the following
purposes:

tables, clerk desks and chairs,

WHEREAS the total re-appropriation of funds from undesignated fund
balance for the above-referenced items is estimated to be $133,250.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners approves the transfer of $133,250 from general fund
undesignated fund balance to the Circuit Court budget for the above-
referenced items.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the general fund budget be amended as
follows:
