This proposal, it approved by the electors, will allow the Clawson School District
to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills against non-homestead and non-qualified
agricultural property required for the School District to receive its full revenue
per pupil foundation guarantee.
Shall the limitation on the total amount of general ad valoram taxes which may be
imposed in any one year for all purposes upon non-homestead and non-qualified
agricultural property situated within the Clawson School District, County of
Oakland, State of Michigan, be increased as provided in Article 9, Section 6 of
the Michigan Constitution, in the amount of nineteen (19.00) mills on each dollar
($19.00 per $1,000) of taxable value, for a period of five (5) years, from July 1,
2003 through June 30, 2008, with 17.0459 mills of the total being a replacement of
a previously voted millage authorization which would otherwise expire on June 30,
2005, which millage would provide estimated revenues to the Clawson School District
of One Million Eight Hundred Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-Two and 00/100
($1,812,922.00) Dollars during the 2003 calendar year, to be used for general
operating purposes? . ,
