Motion by Sabol, Supported by Avery to approve the agenda with the addition of MUEVA Fitness Zumba for
Kids prior to 11a. All Aye, Motion Carried

Motion by Catallo, Supported by Marsh to schedule a Special Meeting on May 16, 2016 at 375 Depot
St at 7 pm contingent on getting bid information on Friday May 13, 2016. The Special Meeting would be
to consider the bids for the DPW Addition. All Aye, Motion Carried.
DNR Mill Pond Goose Round Up
Resolved by Avery, Supported by Marsh to pass and forward the City of the Village of Clarkston's
Resolution of support regarding the Goose round up on the Clarkston Mill Pond to the DNR. Roll Call:
Kneisc, Mayor Luginski, Sabol, Avery, Marsh, Yes Catallo, No Haven Absent. Resolution is Adopted.
Clarkston United Methodist Church Site Plan
Motion by Sabol, Supported by Kneisc to approve the Special Land Use in regards to the metal roof
and Multi Use. Roll Call: Kneisc, Catallo, Mayor Luginski, Sabol, Avery, Marsh All Yes Haven Absent.
Motion by Sabol, Supported by Kneisc to approve the Site Plan contingent on the Landscape design
plan approval and Written Final Drainage engineering approval from Clarkston School District. Roll Call:
Marsh, Avery, Sabol, Mayor Luginski, Catallo, Kneisc. Yes Haven Absent.
New Business
Motion by Marsh, Supported by Avery to approve the Mauve Fitness Zumba for Kids to use Depot Park
June 22, 29, July 13,20,27 August 3 and 10, 2016 from 10:45 to 11:30 contingent upon Insurance and
Approval of available dates. All Aye, Motion Carried
OC Equalization Contract For Services Resolution
Motion by Sabol, Supported by Avery to accept Oakland County Michigan's Equalization Division
Contract with a 3 0/0 increase (from $14.00 to $14.40 per parcel And personal property parcel rate will
increase from $12.40 to $12.80 (rounded). for a contract period from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019
Contingent upon final review of the City Attorney Tom Ryan. Roll Call: Kneisc, Mayor Luginski, Catallo,
Sabol, Marsh, Avery All Yes. Haven Absent.
Community Awards Proclaimations
Motion by Catallo, Supported by Marsh to support and approve the Clarkston Community Awards 31 st
Breakfast on Tuesday May 24, 2016 from 7:30 to 9 am. This year the winners of these awards are as
follows: Citizen of the Year, Jennifer Hermann; Youth of the Year, Kailan Mehta; Business Person of
the Year, Leanna Haun; Adult Youth Volunteer of the Year, Alan Partington; Community Beautification
and Preservation, Chelsea O'Brien; Community Collaboration, Independence Day Parade Committee;
Community Enhancement, Girl Scout Troop #13363 which includes Lauren Dombrowski, Emily
Hermann, Hannah Music, Elizabeth Scheil, Bailey Schroeder, Nadia Smith, Olivia Thomas, Julia
Walker and Leaders, Jennifer Hermann and Amy Music. All Aye, Motion Carried.
May Is Mental Health Month In Oakland County
Resolved by Marsh, Supported by Avery to support Oakland County and make May 2016 Mental Health
Month and to increase awareness and understanding of mental illness, and the need for appropriate and
accessible services for all people with mental illnesses to promote recovery.Roll Call: Marsh, Avery,
Sabol, Mayor Luginski, Catallo, Kneisc All Yes. Haven Absent. Resolution is Adopted.
Motion To Restrict Parking On Holcomb For Safety
Moved by Catallo, Supported by Sabol to allow the Chamber to post no parking signs on the West side
of Holcomb during the Food Truck Rally held on May 20th from 5:30 to 9:00 from Depot to Miller Rd.
Luginski, Sabol, Catallo, Marsh Yes. Avery and Kneisc No. Motion Carried.
Motion by Sabol, Supported by Marsh to adjourn the meeting at 7:52.

As required by Urban Cooperation Act 7 of 1967 - MCL 124.510(4), a copy of the signed agreement with the County of
Oakland and the City of the Village of Clarkston and the authorizing Board of Commissioners Resolution are enclosed for filing by your office.
