The whole number of votes given for and against the BONDING PROPOSAL in this column
Shall Lake Orion Community School District, Oakland County, Michigan, borrow the I sum of not to exceed Seventy-Seven Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars
($77,700,000) and issue its general obligations unlimited tax bonds therefor, for
the purpose of:
- erecting, furnishing and equipping a new middle school;
- erecting, furnishing and equipping additions to and remodeling, refurnishing and
re-equipping school buildings;
- acquiring and installing educational technolo: im.rovements•
- erecting, furnishing and equipping a new transportation facility and purchasing
school buses; and
- acquiring land for site purposes and developing and improving athletic fields
and sites?
The bonds are expected to be outstanding for a maximum of 25 years and require
an additional debt millage rate in the year 2000 of 0.25 mill ($0.25 per $1,000
of taxable valuation) for a total estimated simple average annual idillage rate of ,
2.42 mills ($2.42 per $1,000 of taxable valuation) and a total milllage rate in
2000 of 7.491 mills as compared to 7.241 mills for 1999. I

proceeds cannot be used for repair or maintenance costs, teacher, administrator
or employee salaries, or other operating expenses.)
