As required by Urban Cooperation Act 7 of 1967 - MCL 124.510(4), a copy of the signed agreement with the County of Oakland and Groveland Township and the authorizing Board of Commissioners Resolution are enclosed for filing by your office. BOARD MINUTES GROVELAND TOWNSHIP BOARD REGULAR MEETING April 11, 2016 @ 7:00pm APPROVED 5/9/2016 DePalma called the regular meeting of the Groveland Township Board to order at 7:00p.m. Members present were DePalma, Howell, Mazich, Ax- Excused, Cason-Excused also in attendance Chief S. McGee. APPROVED AGENDA: Howell motioned to approve the April 11,2016 agenda as submitted, supported by Mazich. ALL IN FAVOR MOTION CARRIED APPROVED BOARD MINUTES : Mazich motioned to approve the March 14, 2016 Township Board Minutes and Fire Board Minutes as submitted, supported by Howell . ALL IN FAVOR MOTIONED CARRIED Approved Budget Amendments : None at this time. APPROVED ACCOUNTS PAYABLES : Mazich motioned to approve the accounts payables, including Holly Library in the amount of $6,500, Road Gravel in the amount of $19,215 and to fund the Health Care Savings .Plans, the motion was supported by Howell. SUPERVISOR: DePalma reported: *Will be getting together on the Renaisance parking issues with Holly and Kathy Parker with the Renaisance Festival as the last meeting was not productive. BOARD MINUTES APPROVED 5/9/2016 *Introduced Resident Theresa Bills. *Announced April 19ili is the deadline for filing Partisan petitions for anyone interested in being a Trustee, Supervisor, Clerk or Treasurer Candidate. *Will be attend~ng Election Training required by State for Clerks running elections on Wednesday, April 13th. *All 3 of the Election Precincts in Groveland received great reports from the Board of Canvassers. Great job to all of Groveland's precinct election workers. *Will be reviewing Fire Dept. insurance policies and work comp. TREASURE: Treasurer Ax reported: *Nothing to report at this time. ANNOUNCEMENT: *A special Planning Commission meeting will be held on Monday, April 25th at 6:30, it is a Public Hearing regarding the rezoning of Township Property in section 19 to commercial, B3 . *A special Board of Trustees meeting will follow the above Special Planning Commission Public Hearing at 7pm to discuss approving the rezoning of the Township Property in section 19 to commercial, B3, if recommended by the Planning Commission. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business on the agenda a motion was made by DePalma and supported by Mazich to adjourn at 7:46pm.
