MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSIONERS
CALL TO ORDER:
The Board of County Election Commissioners meeting was called to order by the Honorable Linda S.
Hallmark on September 5, 2017 at 3:34 p.m., in the Elections Division, Board of Canvassers/Training
Room, 1st floor, West Wing Extension, 1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Pontiac, MI 48341.
ROLL CALL:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Hallmark, Brown, Meisner. (3)
ABSENT: None. (0)
OTHERS PRESENT: Joseph J. Rozell, Director of Elections; Heather Kadulski, Elections Specialist; and
Ross Gavin, Deputy Treasurer for Public Policy & Outreach.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Moved by MEISNER seconded by HALLMARK to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Discussion followed.
Clerk Brown offered an amendment to the August 29, 2017 Election Commission minutes.
Moved by BROWN seconded by MEISNER to approve the minutes of the August 29, 2017 Board of
County Election Commissioners Meeting, as amended. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
A. APPROVAL OF BALLOTS FOR THE NOVEMBER 7, 2017 ELECTION.
Discussion followed.
Judge Hallmark stated that sample ballots were submitted to the commissioners for approval.
The commissioners reviewed ballots submitted for Township of Addison, Precinct 1, Charter Township of
Bloomfield, Precinct 20, 21 & 32 and City of Berkley, Precinct 3 & 7, Split A. Judge Hallmark asked for a
motion to approve all ballots for the November 7, 2017 Election.
Moved by BROWN seconded by MEISNER that the ballots be approved. Motion carried.

Moved by HALLMARK seconded by BROWN that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
Judge Hallmark adjourned the meeting at 3:40 p.m.
