As required by Urban Cooperation Act 7 of 1967 - MCL 124.510(4), a copy of the signed agreement with the County of Oakland and the Township of Groveland, and the authorizing Board of Commissioners Resolution are enclosed for filing by your office. TREASURER: Ax appointed Deputy Treasurer Shelly Kidd as she was the most qualified candidate effective February 1, 2019. *Motion by Ax to approve Shelly Kidd as the Interim Twp. Rates are correct but the date needs to be changed to July 16, 2018 *Ax motioned to approve 911 / Dispatch contract with Oakland County with the date change to July 16, 2018, the motion was supported by Back. ROLL CALL VOTE- DePalma-Yes, Back-Yes, Ax- Yes, Christopher-Yes, Cason-Yes ALL YES/MOTION CARRIED APPROVED MASTER ACADEMY CLASS: Back noted the continued education class is $450.00 and $79.00 a night for a hotel on March 19,20 & 21 2019. *Back motioned to approve attending the Master Academy Class for Clerks at $450.00 and $79.00 a night for a hotel, the motion was supported by Christopher. Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance: Deputy Allen reported: The next scheduled meeting is tomorrow December 11th. PLANNING COMMISSION: Cason reported: The fence ordinance will begin re-writing, the rezoning of 2018-002 and Oakland County Parks gave a nice presentation finally the ORV Park held a successful closed test event with 80-100 vehicles. DECEMBER 10, 2018 APPROVED 01/14/2019 BZA: Christopher reported: Nothing at this time. SUPERVISOR: DePalma reported: Brent Ax created a new Township Facebook page titled Groveland TWP. Christopher and DePalma will get appraisals of the actual value of Fire Station 1. Groveland will not license marihuana. A new video has been created on gravel road speeds can be found on YouTube and Facebook. CLERK: Back reported: Ken Palka the Township’s accountant will be in Wednesday to review accounts and payroll. The OCC quarterly meeting is December 12th. Christopher and I are attending MTA training in Lansing on December 13. TREASURER: Ax reported: I’m looking forward to retiring and Shelly and Gail in the Treasurer’s Department. PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment.
