. OPERATING MILLAGE RESTORATION r. •
This proposal would restore the authority of the School District of the City of Oak Park to levy mills , '1 for general operating purposes for which the current authority expired with the 2008 levy. Under this
Iproposal, based on current enrollment projections and statutory exemptions, the District would be
authorized to levy up to 18 mills on non-homestead property (commercial, industrial, second homes •
and residential rental property and excluding owner occupied homes). which would allow the '
School District to receive the full foundation allowance revenue permitted by law.

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed on upon taxable non-homestead
property in the School District of the City of Oak Park, Oakland County, Michigan be increased by ;';'.'..
18.00 mills ($18.00 per $1.000 of taxable value) for ten years (10) years, the years 2009 to 2018, [",.• ,...„,,
inclusive, to provide funds for general operating expenses of the District'? If approved, this millage
