Woodward, Chairperson, Pandemic Response and Economic Recovery Committee IN RE: HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES/HEALTH DIVISION — COVID-19 SUPPORT FUNDING — GRANT ACCEPTANCE To the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chairperson, Ladies and Gentlemen: WHEREAS the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CFSEM) has awarded the Oakland County Health Division a grant for COVID-19 Support in the amount of $25,000; and WHEREAS the grant period is March 24, 2020 through March 23, 2021; and WHEREAS the funding will be used to increase the Oakland County Health Division's capacity to provide support related to COVID-19, specifically by allowing the purchase of additional testing supplies; and WHEREAS the grant agreement has completed the Grant Review Process in accordance with Miscellaneous Resolution #19006. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners accepts grant funding from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan in the amount of $25,000, for the period of March 24, 2020 through March 23, 2021. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners authorizes both the Board of Commissioners Chairperson and the County Executive to execute the grant agreement and to approve any grant extensions or changes, within fifteen percent (15%) of the original award, which are consistent with the original agreement as approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that acceptance of this grant does not obligate the County to any future commitment and continuation of the grant program is contingent upon future levels of grant funding.
