During this same time, The Crosshairs Foundation were made aware of the purchase attempts to provide Deputy Craig Pesko a new canine to replace one that was about to retire soon. The Crosshairs Foundation donated the $3,000 to the purchase of the new canine that was being chosen and donated to Deputy Pesko. With the donation The Crosshairs Foundation was trying to be anonymous and therefore has no desire or intentions of claiming any sort of ownership over the canine that was donated to Deputy Pesko. It is also the understanding that the canine provide to Deputy Pesko was his selection therefore The Crosshairs Foundation is not responsible vet bills, training or any other expenses reference the canine. The only involvement The Crosshairs Foundation had with this canine was to provide money towards the purchase.
