IN RE: Acceptance of Donation of Steridol Cleaning Wipes From Lynn Medical
Chairperson and Members of the Board:
WHEREAS Miscellaneous Resolution 983204 adopted a policy for Gift Donations; and
WHEREAS Lynn Medical would like to donate approximately $112,500 worth of Steridol cleaning wipes for use in the jail
and other Sheriffs Office locations; and
WHEREAS all Sheriff s Office locations have remained open throughout the pandemic and the use of cleaning wipes has been
essential for disinfecting surfaces and common areas; and
WHEREAS the Sheriff has agreed to accept the donation of the Steridol cleaning wipes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners acknowledges and accepts the
donation of Steridol cleaning wipes from Lynn Medical with an estimated value of $112,500.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED a budget amendment is not required in order to accept the Steridol clean wipes.

RE: Donation to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department
As a Michigan based medical supply distributor, Lynn Medical, founded in 1966, believes in
supporting our local communities. To that end, we are proposing a donation of Steridol cleaning
wipes to the Oakland County Sheriffs Department.
We are proposing a donation of approximately 1500 CS. At list price, the value is $112,500. The
wipes would be delivered via LTL, palletized, and wrapped at no cost to the County.
We have attached the Manufacturers Efficacy Sheet for your review.
We will await communication from you to finalize the donation.
We support law enforcement and it is our hope that the donation will allow resources to be
used in other areas for the benefit of the community.
