Chairperson, the Board of Commissioners recommends the following Board action:
The Legislative Affairs and Government Operations Committee, having reviewed the appointment by the
County Executive of Ed Joss as the Director of the Facilities Management Department, recommends
confirmation of this appointment.
Chairperson, the following Commissioners recommend the adoption of the foregoing Board action: Kristen
Nelson.

I am proud to announce the addition of Edward Joss to our leadership team as Director of the Facilities
Management Department.
Mr. Joss started in an entry level position with Facilities Management more than 22 years ago. During that time,
he worked his way up to his current position of Manager of the Facilities Planning & Engineering Division. Ed has
demonstrated a strong commitment to collaboration, innovation, and professional excellence. His experience
and many talents will serve Oakland County well as he takes on this new role.
