Chairperson, the Board of Commissioners recommends the following Board action:
The Legislative Affairs and Government Operations Committee, having reviewed the appointment by the
County Executive of Charlotte Fisher to the position of Director, Department of Public Communications,
recommends confirmation of this appointment.
Chairperson, the following Commissioners recommend the adoption of the foregoing Board action: Kristen

of Public Communications. As you know, this new Department brings together all public communications
and community engagement activities for the county.
I am confident that her over thirty years of communications experience make her an exemplary selection
to lead this new Department. She has a deep understanding of all aspects of communications, marketing,
and public affairs. She is a talented manager and is committed to ensuring we can measure, evaluate,
and improve the work we do. She is passionate about the future of Oakland County and the critical role
this new Department serves in conveying the services of Oakland County government to our residents.
