Chairperson, the Board of Commissioners recommends the following Board action:
The Legislative Affairs and Government Operations (LAGO) Committee, having considered the vacancies and
expiring appointments on the Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) board on January 25, 2022, hereby
recommends the following individuals be appointed to the OCHN for three-year terms, as detailed below:

I have two sons with ASD. One is high functioning and one is mid -spectrum. We lived
in Oakland County for many years and experienced support at a high level. We then
moved to another county for work and had a different and good experience. As we
returned to Oakland County I was surprised at the reduced levels of service and the
frustration families (across the economic spectrum) were experiencing. The Pandemic
has stretched all aspects of both the education and health care systems and especially
in regards to mental health. I believe we need to continuously look for innovative
solutions and collaborative partnerships.

involved with special needs organizations. I have experience with a number of civic
organizations: Farmington Area Chamber Board (Secretary, Vice Chair, Chair); Troy
Chamber Board (Secretary and Treasurer); Rochester Regional Chamber Board
(Secretary, Vice Chair, Chair).
