Doyle and Hall reviewed the Articles of Incorporation in detail and responded to questions from the commissioners. Copies of the Metropolitan Councils Act, Act 292 of 1989, sample distribution figures based on the Weighted Vote, etc, were provided as additional information. McPherson moved to recommend that the General Government Committee move forward with this resolution at its next regular meeting. Supported by Friedman Appel. The Chair ruled the motion out of order. McPherson moved to place the item on today's agenda as an action item. Supported by Friedman Appel. Roll Call: Ayes: McPherson, Friedman Appel Nays: Taub, Crawford, Moss, Middleton, Patterson Absent: Webster, Melton Motion failed. Mr. Poisson explained that he had been asked by the County Executive to conduct an analysis on this proposal for the Board's consideration of this matter. A document will be ready for the Committee's June 3 meeting addressing those particular points Mr. Poisson was asked to review specific to the proposed articles.
