The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Palmer at 9:35 a.m. in Committee Room A , Auditorium
Wing, County Service Center, Pontiac, Michigan.

OAKLAND COUNTY CLERK – QUIT CLAIM DEED RELEASE TO PARTIES POSTED AS SECURITY FOR
CRIMINAL SURETY BOND – ZAKAR
Mr. Millard explained the two items on the agenda this morning involve property Quit Claim Deeded to the
County as security in lieu of cash for bonds in criminal cases. The cases have been resolved and the Judge
has ordered the County to Quit Claim Deed the property in question ba ck to the owners. Corporation
Counsel advises the Clerk/Register does not have the authority to do so, therefore, is requesting Board of
Commissioner approval.
Chairperson Palmer noted several typographic errors in the resolutions and suggested the Commi ttee
Coordinator to correct them.
There was no objection.
McMillin moved approval of the attached suggested resolution.
Motion carried on unanimous roll call vote.

OAKLAND COUNTY CLERK – QUIT CLAIM DEED RELEASE TO PARTIES POSTED AS SECURITY FOR
CRIMINAL SURETY BOND – LEE
This item also involves Quit Claim Deeds as security for bond posted in a criminal case.
Coleman moved approval of the attached suggested resolution. Supported by Long.
Motion carried on unanimous roll call vote.
