through the normal appointment process, with the names submitted by the
Democratic Caucus Chairperson. Supported by Kowall.
Commissioner Gregory indicated that the minority vice -chairperson positions on the
standing committees have always been at the discretion of the minority party, and yet in
this report it has been excluded, and the Democratic Party should have the right to appoint
who they want to. He indicated that it should be included on the report.
