OPERATING M4AGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL EXEMPTING PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE AND QUALIFIED AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY This millage will allow the school district to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all property except principal residence and qualified agricultural property required for the school district to receive its revenue per pupil foundation guarantee and renews millage that will expire with the 2004 tax levy, Shall 18 mills ($18.00 on each $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) of the currently authorized rnillage rate that will expire with the 2004 tax levy on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property, exempting therefrom principal residence and qualified agricultural property as defined by law, in South LyOn Community Schools, Oakland, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, Michigan, be renewed for a period of 10 yers, 2005 to 2014, inclusive (this being a renewal of miliage authorized prior to the 2004 reduction, if any, required by Section 34d(11) of the Property Tax Act, which is not available prior to election deadline); if approved, the estimate Of the revenue the school district will collect the first year of levy, 2005, is approximately $8,881,851? of which number votes were marked YES _(-6-AA-r- (+L--tw votes L49 and TOT4+L votes 6:2 3 The whole number of votes given for and against the: 11.
