MR #15135 – BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS – ROAD COMMISSION FOR OAKLAND COUNTY – APPROPRIATION OF ONE -TIME FUNDING FOR PURCHASE OF CAPITAL ASSETS The resolution approves a one -time appropriation of $2 million for Fiscal Year 2015 to the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) to be used to purchase motor graders and dump trucks essential for the proper maintenan ce and repair of highways and roads under the supervision of the RCOC. The $2 million that the RCOC would have used to purchase th e motor graders and dump trucks are to be restricted for pot hole repair and emergency road repair situations. The RCOC is required to provide a report to the General Government and Finance Committees with details of what specific equipment is purchased with this one -time funding. Woodward moved approval of the attached suggested Fiscal Note . Supported by Taub. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote.
