Per VI-H-1 of Merit System Resolution #4606, the eligibility list can be extended for six months with

the extension of 16 eligibility lists. Jordie Kramer explained that if applicants choose not to disclose, that
person’s information would not be included in the percentage, but they can provide information to the best
of their ability of the percentage of minorities on the eligible lists. Commissioner Bowman requested an
official report reflecting how long minority percentage data of applicants has been collected and what that
percentage is. Chairperson Hoffman asked if the Human Resources Department could provide
information on the percentage of individuals who do not disclose race on their applications.
