Chairperson Weipert called the meeting to order at 6:51 p.m. in Committee Room A of the
Courthouse Auditorium Wing, County S ervice Center, in Pontiac, Michigan.

AGENDA ITEMS
1. OAKLAND COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION – SALE OF A 2.7-ACRE
PARCEL LOCATED AT 9821 SASHABAW ROAD IN INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP
MICHIGAN AND CREATION OF A CONSERVATION/ACCESS EASEMENT
The Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking approval of the sale of property and creation of
an easement for the location at 9821 Sashabaw Road, Independence Township. An interested
buyer has made an offer and down payment for the property. A portion of 1.67 acres of the parcel
is the access easement point. The northwest side of this easement portion contains a tributary of
the Clinton River.
Crawford moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Supported
by McGillivray.
Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Tietz absent.
