APPROVAL OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES Spisz moved approval of the minutes of March 8, 2018, as printed. Supported by Tietz. Motion carried on a voice vote. OAKLAND COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT – INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN OAKLAND COUNTY AND THE OAKLAND COMMUNITY HEALTH NETWORK FOR ADULT TREATMENT COURT The Circuit Court is seeking approval of the interlocal agreement between Oakland County and the Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) for Adult Treatment Court services. Funding is available within the Circuit Court Michigan Drug Court Grant Program (Adult Treatment Court). Peer Recovery Support S ervices (PRSS) will be provided to individuals recovering from substance abuse and addiction. This item has completed the Automatic Direct Referral process. Spisz moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Supported by Jackson. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with McGillivray absent . 2. SHERIFF’S OFFICE – CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES IN ADDISON TOWNSHIP 2017 -2018 The Sheriff’s Office is seeking approval of a contract amendment #1 for law enforcement services in Addison Township . The amendment replaces two Deputy II (no -fill) positions with two Deputy II (with fill) positions. A deputy (no -fill) averages 1,780 hours and a deputy (with fill) guarantees 2,080. This amendment will provide 600 add itional hours and restore the number of deputies (with fill) back to previous levels in Addison Township . This item has completed the Automatic Direct Referral process. Tietz moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Supported by Spisz Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with McGillivray absent . COMMUNICATIONS A. Multi-Department: Circuit Court, Sheriff’s Office, 52 nd District Courts, Prosecutor’s Office and Community Corrections – Compliance Plan for Indigent Defense Standards 1-4 Grant Application (Second Submission ) B. Prosecuting Attorney – 2018 Crime Victim Rights Week Grant Application Jackson moved to receive and file the Communications. Supported by Berman. Motion carried on a voice vote. OTHER BUSINESS/ADJOURNMENT Undersheriff McCabe updated the Committee on the student walk -out day being held tomorrow at some schools to show support to Parkland, Florida, and in protest of gun violence . Undersheriff McCabe stated that the Sheriff’s Office is prepared for the event and does not anticipate any problems.
