MEMBERS PRESENT: Gary McGillivray, Kristen Nelson, William Miller, Thomas Kuhn MEMBERS ABSENT WITH NOTICE: Janet Jackson, Bob Hoffman PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chairperson McGillivray led the Committee in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Miller moved approval of the minutes of August 6, 2019, as presented. Seconded by Nelson. Motion carried. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Miller moved approval of the agenda, as presented. Seconded by Kuhn. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT The following people spoke during public comment: Veronica Taylor, Founder, Hardworking Mom Services; Debra Black, Founder, Life Beyond Reentry. COMMUNICATIONS A. FY 2019 – FY 2021 Contingency Report B. Sheriff’s Office – FY 2020 Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Law Enforcement Grant Application C. Sheriff’s Office – FY 2020 Secondary Road Patrol and Traffic Accident Prevention Program Grant Application D. Prosecuting Attorney – FY 2020 Victim Rights – Grant Application Nelson moved to receive and file the Communications. Seconded by Miller. Motion carried. Seconded by Kuhn. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Jackson and Hoffman absent. 2. FRIEND OF THE COURT – FY 2019 ACCESS & VISITATION GRANT – AMENDMENT OVER 15% Miller moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Seconded by Nelson. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Jackson and Hoffman absent. 3. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES – ANIMAL SHELTER AND PET ADOPTION CENTER – 2019 ANIMAL SHELTER AND PET ADOPTION CENTER EQUIPMENT GRANT – GRANT ACCEPTANCE Nelson moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Seconded by Kuhn. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Jackson and Hoffman absent.
