APPROVAL OF AGENDA Weipert moved approval of the Agenda. Seconded by Luebs. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None. COMMUNICATIONS A. County Executive – COVID-19 Update Sean Carlson, Deputy County Executive provided a COVID-19 Update Report and responded to questions posed by the Commissioners. B. County Executive – PPE Expenditure Distribution Charts Sean Carlson, Deputy County Executive provided a PPE Expenditure Distribution Report and responded to questions posed by the Commissioners. C. Contact Tracing Report Kathleen Forzley, Director, Health and Human Services and Leigh–Anne Stafford, Health Officer, Health and Human Services provided a Contact Tracing Report and responded to questions posed by the Commissioners. COUNTY EXECUTIVE/ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS – RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY (CARES) ACT FUNDING TO ESTABLISH THE OAKLAND COUNTY PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (PPE) RESILIANCE PROGRAM Miller moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Seconded by Gershenson. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Miller absent. 2. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS – COMMUNITY AND HOME IMPROVEMENT DIVISION SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO PY 2019 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR GRANT ALLOCATION ACCEPTANCE OF CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT (CARES ACT) (P.L. 116-136) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG-CV) AND EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT (ESG-CV) U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) Zack moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Seconded by Luebs. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Miller absent. 3. MR #20220 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS – AUTHORIZE FUNDING FROM CARES ACT CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUNDS FOR COUNTY ABSENT VOTER COUNTING BOARD EQUIPMENT PURCHASE AND POLL WORKER TRAINING Nelson moved to report to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Seconded by Gershenson. Weipert moved to report to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution with the following amendments: Amend the NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED clause to the following: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners hereby approves up to $1,200,000 $1,225,252 from the CARES Act’s Coronavirus Relief Funds for the administration of a county absent voter counting board and poll worker training software. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS – AUTHORIZE FUNDING FROM CARES ACT CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUNDS FOR VOTER EDUCATION MAILING AND OUTREACH Gershenson moved to recommend approval of the attached suggested resolution. Seconded by Luebs. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote with Spisz and Miller absent.
