The Board consists of three residents of the county,not holding an elective office,each serving three-year terms:i e One member appointed by the Director of Social Services of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) e Two membersappointed by the Oakland -County Board of Commissioners Board members receive $125 per diem and chairs receive $166.67 per diem.All members are entitled to mileage reimbursement for meetings outside of Oakland County.
