Two part-time positions, manager and coordinator, were created. This is a request to delete two part-time positions and create two full-time positions. Schedule A 2. 2023 NH&D Housing Trust Fund postition PT-FT Write up January 26, 2023 RESOLUTION #2023-2454 _ 23-15 Sponsored By: Penny Luebs Health & Human Services - Neighborhood and Housing Development - - Deletion and Creation of Positions Chair and Members of the Board: WHEREAS Oakland County has a need of 11,582 additional units of affordable housing needing to be created over the next decade; and WHEREAS of the more than 150,000 renters in Oakland County, 41.4% are cost burdened, paying more than 30% of their income in rent; and WHEREAS two (2) new classifications of Housing Trust Fund Manager at salary grade 127 and Housing Trust Fund Coordinator at salary grade 114 was established under MR #22-135; and WHEREAS two (2) positions within the Neighborhood & Housing Development unit (#1060701); one (1) Part-Time Non-Eligible (PTNE) 1,000 hours per year General Fund/General Purpose (GF/GP) Housing Trust Fund Manager position, and one (1) PTNE 1,000 hours per year GF/GP Housing Trust Fund Coordinator position was established under MR #22-135; and WHEREAS there are two (2) currently vacant Part-Time Non-Eligible (PTNE) Housing Trust Fund positions within the Neighborhood & Housing Development Administration; and WHEREAS there is sufficient workload and funding to justify two (2) full-time positions. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approves to delete one (1) GF/GP PTNE 1,000 hours per year Housing Trust Fund Manager position (#1060701-15710) and one (1) GF/GP PTNE 1,000 hours per year Housing Trust Fund Coordinator position (#160701-15709) within the Neighborhood & Housing Development Administration. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to create one (1) GF/GP FTE Housing Trust Fund Manager position and (1) GF/GP FTE Housing Trust Fund Coordinator within the Neighborhood & Housing Development Administration (#1060701). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the FY2023 – FY2025 budgets are amended as reflected in the attached Schedule A budget amendment document.
