PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION M31-BERS PRESENT: Daniel IV. Barry, Robert O. Felt, Donald Ao Kalmbach, John L. Carey, Daniel T. murphyf, Robert P. Allen,, Clarence Ao Durbin,, Dorothy Olson, Frances Clark,, and velma Austin. PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION MER4BERS ABSENT: None. OTHSRS PRESENT: Committee Clerk Anton Jo Guyer This ums the organizational meeting of the nevily created County Parks & Recreation Commission and Acting Chairman John L. Carey explained the functions of the Commission as related to Public Act X-2#3, 196.E, under which the Commission was formed by the Board of Supervisors resolution "531p dated February Sn 1966. Acting Chairman Carry opened nominations for permanent chairman and Secgetarry. Mr. Donald Kalmbach ims placed in nomination by Mr. Barry and supported by Mr. Felt, r1r. Kalp-bach withdrew from the nomination. It was moved by Mr. tjn�Yhy and supported by Mro. Olson that Pars. Frances Clark be placed in nomination for Commission Chairman. Motion carried. it ma , moved by Mr. Allen and supported by Mr. Felt that the nominations bo clossd and that a unanimo ballot be cast for MrS. Frances Clark as Chairman of the Parks & Racreat--* on Commission. Motion carried. Pars. Clark elected Chairman:, ©akland County Parks & Recreation Commission. It vas moved by Mn. Felt and supported by Mrs. Austin that John L. Carey be placed in nomination nor Vice- chairman. Motion carried. it wac, moved by m-. murphy and supported by Mr. Barry that nominations bg closed and that a unanimous ballot be cast for John L.
