Moved by Mr. Murphy, supported by Mr. Durbin;
Inasmuch as the Park Commission has a definite interest in the
Groveland Township property, it requests the Parks and Recreation
Director to do the following:
1. Enter into further negotiation with the owner of the
Groveland property.
2. Develop a program to be submitted to HUD for matching
fund proposals.
3. Secure two appraisals of the property by certified
appraisers.
Motion carried.
The suggestion was made that in the event a transaction is consumated,
the potentially valuable commercial property located on the Dixie High-
way, be excluded from any matching funds request, in order to accomplish
an advantageous disposal of the property if desired.
Meeting was adjourned at 2:45.
