of January 31 be approved as written.

Mr. Skrubb, Director of Planning Commission, presented to the
Commission the need for a comprehensive Recreation Plan.
Mr. Skrubb recommended we proceed with the plan in order to
have it entirely completed during late 1968. Cost to the Park
Commission to complete this study would be $15,000.00. Mr. Skrubb
stated they had already expended $1,500.00 and are ready to
support the study with another $3,500.00. Mr. Skrubb stated he
felt the study could still be completed for the original $20,000.00
estimated cost. Discussion followed.
Moved by Murphy, supported by Kalmbach, that the
Park Commission approve a "Recreation Needs" study
by our Planning Commission at a cost not to exceed
$15,000.00 to complete the Comprehensive Recreation
Plan for Oakland County.
Motion carried.
Mr. Van Natta reported to the Commission of his meeting with
Sheriff Irons concerning the use of Civil Defense Auxiliary
