The meeting was called to discuss the proposed 1982 budget.
Mr. Reickel stated that the estimated 1982 revenue was $5,670,700; estimated
operation budget was $4,470,700; anticipated operating revenue over operating
expenditures was $1,385,600 which takes into consideration depreciation of
$185,600.
From the amount of $1,385,600, $200,000 was earmarked for the capital equipment
budget, $300,000 to the County for the final payment on Glen Oaks, and'$473,365 for
funds needed for the 1981 capital budget. The remaining balance of $412,235 will

Other than the possible dredging of Stewart Lake at Groveland Oaks, there are no
major projects scheduled for 1982.
The estimated revenues were up 16% over the original 1981 budget and an 11%
increase over the 1981 amended budget. Millage revenue was up 15% due to the
increase in the state equalized value of property in Oakland County.
The proposed operational budget of $4,470,700 was 15% higher than 1981 and
included an 8 % increase in salaries as recommended by the County Executive to
the Board of County Commissioners.
One new position in the Technical Support Section was requested for 1982.
FEES AND CHARGES:
Commissioner Stanley expressed her opposition to any fee increases for residents
of Oakland County "...In Oakland County where we are already paying taxes, the
resident fees should remain the same ... I think you do a disservice to your residents
