June 20, 1984
The meeting was called to order at 9:10 a.m. by Chairman Lewis Wint in the Parks
and Recreation Commission's conference room.

minutes of the meeting of June 6, 1984, as written.

APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS:
Moved by Mrs. Fox, supported by Mrs. Stanley to approve the
payment of Vouchers 6-1 through 6-174.

STATEMENT OF 0,E RATIONS:
Moved by Mrs. Stanley, supported by Mr. Wilcox to receive the
Statement of Operations as of May 31, 1984.
Motion carried.
ACTIVITIES REPORT:
Moved by Mrs. Stanley, supported by Mr. Wilcox to receive the
Activities Report as of May 31, 1984.
Motion carried.
MANAGER'S REPORT:
---Informed the Commission that, because of new deadlines set by the Secretary of
State for candidates to register, the primary election will probably be sometime
in September. The Secretary of State's office has not yet set a date.
---Jan Pung brought the Commission up to date on the progress being made on the
millage renewal.
---Received a note from Betty Guest thanking the Commission for the flowers sent
to her while she has been off sick from work.
---The Commission's park tour itinerary has been set as follows:
Walk from the Administrative office to the Recreation Office
Building, Accounting offices, Technical Support, and the
Waterford Oaks Tennis Complex
White Lake Oaks
Glen Oaks; lunch
Red Oaks; then back to office.
Meeting adjourned to park tour at 9:25 a.m.
