Lewis, Jr. in the banquet room of the Springfield Oaks Activities Center. COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Pecky D. Lewis, Jr., Vice Chairman Ruth Johnson, Secretary Richard Kuhn, Jr., George Kuhn, Lawrence Pernick, Richard Skarritt COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: Fred Korzon, Nancy McConnell, Kay Schmid ALSO PRESENT: Parks and Recreation Fair Oaks, Inc. Orion Twp. Dept. Of Water and Sewer Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment Ralph Richard, Manager Jon Kipke, Assistant Manager Daniel Stencil, Chief of Parks Mike Thibodeau, Chief of Golf Joe Figa, Chief of Design/Development Sheila Cox, Accountant IV Frank Trionfi, Chief, Admin. Services Jan Pung, Public Comm. Officer Kathleen Dougherty, Parks Naturalist L.C. Scramlin, President Dick White, Director Mark Perkoski, Consultant Staff noted that the proposed revenue budget for 1997 is $14,470,149, an increase of 5.6% over the proposed budget for 1996. Of this amount, $5,904,449 comes from fees and charges, and the balance of $8,565,700 will come from the millage and interest on investments. The proposed operating budget for 1997 is $10,851,714, an increase of 2.8% over the 1996 proposed budget. The remaining balance of the revenues, after the $10,851,174 for operations, is for operating equipment and capital development. The amount of $628,103, of which approximately $333,403 is for replacement equipment and vehicles, is for operating equipment. Estimated new funds for capital development for 1997 is $3,436,713. The proposed 1997 projects are budgeted at $4,853,258, with estimated new funds at $3,436,713. No ques .ons were asked; therefore, the public hearing was declared closed at 9:22 a.m. Richard D.
