Lewis, Jr. in the commission room of the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission's administration office. COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Pecky D. This is the first required review. A public hearing is also a requirement of the DNR to qualify for funds. Notice of the hearing was advertised in area newspapers. (Public Hearing, March 15, 2000) The project staff selected is as follows: Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Renovation Staff presented the project, which will be a 50/50 matching grant, with $250,000 coming from the Clean Michigan Initiative and $250,000 from the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission's funds. The project will include demolishing and re -pouring the pool floor; installing a new drainage system; replacing the hydraulic wave -making machinery with pneumatic wave -making machinery; and replacing amenities such as coping, gutters, and lighting, as necessary.
