Eric Reickel Re: Proposed Park Development Plan Waterford -Oaks Park Pontiac, Michigan Gentlemen: We are in receipt of a letter from Mr. Joseph D. Joachim of the architectural firm of Swanson Associates, Inc., dated August 1, 1972, in which our firm was requested to submit a proposal to provide engineering services as de- scribed -in the above referenced letter. We would propose a fee for providing all necessary services on an hourly basis of 225% of our base payroll rate, but not to exceed $3,000.00. It would be necessary for our firm to hire a Soils Engineer to review, test and evaluate the site soil conditions. This, we would propose, would be a reimbursable item to our contract. In discussing this item with a Soils Engineer, it was determined that the approximate cost would be $2,500.00 to $3,000.00. Enclosed please find a copy of our company brochure for your review. We are very much interested in this project forward to discussing it further with you at Feel free to contact us at any time. Sin rely yours, HOY M ASSOCIA INC PORATED Ge' a E. I am sorry that we do not have the copy available for you to read in advance but due to the tight schedule we have not been able to get it compiled at this time. The most important decision to be made here is not necessarily the content but the cost of the printing and the amount of copies that we wish to have printed on the first run. These recommendations will be available to you on the day of our meeting.
