There are at least four (4) items that are not on the agenda that should be discussed at an Executive Session because it would not be to any advantage to discuss them publicly. As you recall Phase I was the construction of the exterior shell of the building. Phase II is the interior plumbing, electrical and partitioning of this facility with separate bids for each trade area. ITEM # 6 SPRINGFIELD-OAKS GOLF COURSE TEST WELL & SOIL BORINGS The consultant for the new back nine needs a test well and 17 soil borings to help provide information that is needed in order to proceed with further design. We are presently getting some quotes and will have them available for our meeting. ITEM #7 ROAD COMMISSION TRUCK TRACTOR & SEMI TRAILER The Road Commission has agreed to make their maintenance services available to us if we purchase the tractor and trailer they have offered us for the price of $2,500.00. Based on staff recommendation and the maintenance agreement offered by the Road Commission, we should take advantage of these pieces of equipment. HARRIS, COMMISSIONER February 28, 1973 Mr. Gerard Lacey Springfield Oaks Parks and Recreation Commission 12450-1 Andersonville Road Davisburg, MI 48019 Dear Mr. Lacey: In accordance with our recent telephone conversation, the Road Commission is willing to sell our 1963 Truck Tractor with 1957 Martin Folding Gooseneck Semi -Trailer to the Parks and Recreation Commission for the sum of $2,500.00. MCENTEE ASSISTANT CIVIL COUNSEL I understand that you have inspected this equipment and have found it to be in good operating order. This equipment has been declared surplus and is our intention to offer it at public auction in the event your Commission is not interested in purchasing same. Our equipment repair facilities would be available to you in the event you wish to have the Road Commission repair this equipment in the future. This service is extended to other county agencies who elect to have us perform any necessary repairs or heavy maintenance at their expense. Please advise us of your decision on this matter.
