FIRE DEPARTMENT OPERATING AND AMBULANCE SERVICE
Shall the previous voted millage increases in the tax limitations (imposed under Article IX,
Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution) totaling .75 mill, (.75 per $1000.00 taxable value)
which have been reduced to .5716 mill as required with millage rollbacks and which the -
millage will expire for the levy in 2008, be increased to .75 mill (.75 per $1000.00 on the e tri
taxable value) for levy in the years 2009 through 2014 for a period of six years, (6) for
operating expenses for fire protection and ambulances services within the Township? It is F
estimated, based on the 2008 taxable value, that the revenue the fire department will collect, . .
if the millage is approved and levied will be approximately $263,408.00 from the local taxes •
authorized in this proposal.

FIRE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL MILLAGE
Shall the previously approved voted millage(s) increase in the tax limitation (imposed under s--, - * • ,
Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution) totaling .75 mills combined, (.75 per
$1000.00 of taxable value) which have been reduced to .6713 mills as required by Headlee , .
rollback and which millage expired in 2008 be increased back to .75 mills (.75 per $1000.00 of
taxable value) and levied in the years 2009 through 2016 for a period of eight years. (8) This ,
funding is for the sole purpose of providing capital improvements to the Fire Department of -10
Addison Township and the only existing millage funding for Fire Department Capital
Improvements? It is estimated, based on the 2008 taxable value, that the revenue the fire
department will collect if the millage is approved and levied will be approximately
$263,408.00 from the local taxes authorized in this proposal.
