Lessor, for and in consideration of the mutual cove- nant conditions and agreements hereinafter set forth does hereby i lease to Lessee 5.7 acres of land situated in the Township of Springfield, Oakland County, Michigan, more particularly described as follows: Part of the North 1/2 of Section 17, Myron Hickey Addition, known as the Davisb r g Mill Pond Site, together with all buildings, recreational equipment and improvements thereon. 2. The term of said lease shall be twenty (20) years. 3. Said lease may be terminated by mutual agreement. 4. In the event the subject property is used for any purpose other than park or recreational activity, the Lessor may terminate this lease forthwith upon written notice to Lessee, stating the specific reasons for said termination. The Lessee shall have seven (7) days to respond to the claimed improper use charges, before Lessor may take possession. 5. In the event Lessee desires to make any additions or improvements to the subjectproperty,Lessee shall submit plans P J 1 for such additions or improvements to the Director of the Oakland County PP Parks and Recreation Commission for approval. Should this lease be terminated before said permanent improvements' are fully depreciated, Lessor shall pay to Lessee the original IIII cost of said improvements minus the depreciation deducted to the Lessee has made to said property during the term thereof and, in particular, any recreational equipment installed by Lessee if 'II l% Lessee is unable to agree with Lessor as to a reasonable amount to be paid to Lessee for reimbursement for such fixtures, equip- ment or improvement, Any costs of such removal shall be borne by Lessee and removal shall be accomplished in a prompt and workmanlike manner. As of now, I don't see much hope of this becoming a County Park. ---Received a request from the owners of Bald Mountain Golf Course located in Orion Township inquiring whether or not the Commission would be interested in acquiring the Bald Mountain Golf Course. I may request an Executive Session to get your input on this. Staff feels we should say "thanks" but "no thanks." ---Dates to Remember: May 12: Recognition Banquet, Addison Oaks, 6:30 p.m. May 16: Red Oaks Dedication, 1:00 p.m. May 21: Waterford Oaks Tennis Complex Dedication, 1:00 p.m. ---All golf courses, weather permitting, will be open beginning Saturday, April 12. ---The park passes for Oakland County officials will have been sent out by the meeting.
