MANAGER'S REPORT
---According to the April 3rd Pontiac -Waterford Times, the DNR did
not receive the grant from the federal government for acquisition of
the Orion Township property. As of now, I don't see much hope of this
becoming a County Park.
---Received a request from the owners of Bald Mountain Golf Course
located in Orion Township inquiring whether or not the Commission
would be interested in acquiring the Bald Mountain Golf Course. I
may request an Executive Session to get your input on this. Staff
feels we should say "thanks" but "no thanks."
---Dates to Remember:
May 12: Recognition Banquet, Addison Oaks, 6:30 p.m.
May 16: Red Oaks Dedication, 1:00 p.m.
May 21: Waterford Oaks Tennis Complex Dedication, 1:00 p.m.
---All golf courses, weather permitting, will be open beginning Saturday,
April 12.
---The park passes for Oakland County officials will have been sent out
by the meeting. If you desire any passes, please let me know.
