INTERIM MANAGER'S REPORT
---We will go to the Nature Center at Independence Oaks immediately following
the Commission meeting. Transportation will be available for those who would
like to ride together. This will be a short visit, taking probably 12 hours.
---A construction meeting was held and the renovation of the facade and im-
provements to the bathrooms at the Waterford Oaks Activities Center will begin
within the next week. The project is scheduled to be completed in December.
---Red Oaks: Oakland Golf Dome Associates purchased a new and improved air
structure for the dome. Some site modification will be necessary and they
are currently working with the City of Madison Heights for the necessary
permits and approvals. They feel the dome will be in operation early this
winter.
CHAIRMAN'S REPORT
---Have meet with staff six times this month to sign vouchers and discuss
the park operations. I am proud and pleased to report that things are going
very well.
---Met with Kerry Kammer regarding proposed changes in the Kammer Land Trust
Fund.
