The results are attached. Also attached is a summary of the leagues at our four courses for 1984 and an analysis of the number of rounds played by league members. Staff will be prepared to discuss this at the meeting. Leagues - 736 Total Players in A.M. Leagues - 144 47.5% of extra rounds played by A.M. leagues. A.M. leagues represent only 19.5% of total league players. 19.5% of players play 47.5 of extra rounds. Springfield has 6 more leagues in 1984 over 1983. Has approximately 20 to 25 phone calls for new leagues every year. GLEN OAKS Total Players - 1000 Total Extra Nines Played: 1948 Unpaid Golf: 1948 @$3.00/round = $5844.00 Total Extra Nines by A.M. Leagues - 1196 Total Players in A.M. Leagues - 306 61.4% of extra rounds played by A.M. leagues. A.M. leagues represent 30.6% of total league players. 30.6% of players played 61.4% of extra rounds. Glen Oaks has 40 leagues, same as in 1983. Has 28 leagues on the waiting list for 1985. WHITE LAKE OAKS Total Players - 743 Total Extra Nines Played: 1425 Unpaid Golf: 1425 @$3.00/round = $4275.00 Total Extra Nines by A.M. Leagues - 611 Total Players in A.M. Leagues - 267 42.9% of extra rounds played by A.M. leagues. A.M. leagues represent only 35.9% of total league players. 35.9% of players played 42.9% of extra rounds. White Lake Oaks gained 2 leagues in 1984 over 1983. Has 3 leagues on waiting list for 1985. 6-3 GOLF LEAGUE INFORMATION - 1984 August 28, 1984 Page 2 RED OAKS Total Players - 306 Total Extra Nines Played: 240 Unpaid Golf: 240 @$3.00/round = Total Extra Nines by A.M. Leagues - 180 Total Players in A.M. Leagues - 108 75% of extra rounds played by A.M. leagues. A.M. leagues represent 32% of total leagues 32% of players play 75% of extra rounds. Red Oaks has 2 more leagues in 1984 over 1983. 6-4 ITEM #7 INTERIM MANAGER'S REPORT ---We will go to the Nature Center at Independence Oaks immediately following the Commission meeting. Transportation will be available for those who would like to ride together. This will be a short visit, taking probably 12 hours. ---A construction meeting was held and the renovation of the facade and im- provements to the bathrooms at the Waterford Oaks Activities Center will begin within the next week. The project is scheduled to be completed in December. ---Red Oaks: Oakland Golf Dome Associates purchased a new and improved air structure for the dome. Some site modification will be necessary and they are currently working with the City of Madison Heights for the necessary permits and approvals. They feel the dome will be in operation early this winter. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT ---Have meet with staff six times this month to sign vouchers and discuss the park operations. I am proud and pleased to report that things are going very well. ---Met with Kerry Kammer regarding proposed changes in the Kammer Land Trust Fund. 7-1
