REAUTHORIZATION FIRE DEPARTMENT OPERATING PROPOSITION
The number of votes given for and against the REAUTHORIZATION FIRE DEPARTMENT OPERATING PROPOSITION
For the purpose of continuing arid providing fire pretection, equipment, training, and ambulance services for Addison Township, shall the 15 mill tax
limitation in the total amount of general ad valorem taxes which may be imposed each year for all purposes upon all real and tangible personal
property in Addison Township, Oakland County. State of Michigan, be authorized (expiration of current millage 12131/2004) as provided in Section 6,
Article IX of the Constitution of Michigan up to three-fourths (.75) mill. (.75 cents per 61000.00 of taxable value) The existing operating rnillage as
reduced by the required Headlee rollback, based on the year 2004 factors is as follows 6615 expiring 12/04. The reauthorization of three fourths, or
.75 per $1000.00 of taxable value as required by the Headlee rollback, to provide additional operational monies for fire protection, equipment, training,
and ambulance services for the years January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2010 inclusive, which this millage, reauthorization will raise in the first
year of levy based on the year 2004 taxable value, an estimated increased revenue of $10,179.25 over that raised in the previous year.
